The Fairybumpmother Flies Again

So I have decided to do another journey and am now working with a lawyer's office and the wait is killing me granted that I just recently turned 6 months pp and everything. I am  a little anxious but then I realize that the footwork being done is usually what an agency does so things would move by a little quicker. I have resolved that this is July 7th 2014 and there is still time  doesn't mean that its any easier. So the blog will continue but I will start a new one loo over to Fairybump Mother Pt.2

LITTLE MUNCHKIN IS HERE!!!!

Happy New Year!!!!

So I know that for those who have been faithfully following my blog I know that you must be anxious to read my birth story. Our journey started the Monday ( December 23rd 2013) before where I did my Pre-Op blood work that morning and found that the last one on the day of my C-section. Go figure that I would find this out then. I went to my last OBGYN appointment with IP's in attendance and hubby. It was great to see them bittersweet they were overseas for the latter part of the pregnancy and emails, viber messages and Google Hangouts were or best friends. We all felt the tension at the visit. I was checked  and I was just at 1 cm which was good per say I was released from the OBGYN's office with instructions that if mother nature were to kick in I was to make my way to the hospital. Needless, to say mother nature stayed in check. I was able to spend Christmas with my hubby and boys. I slept and ate and slept again. I was thankful because I didn't want to be in the hospital and miss Christmas with my boys.

To say that I was anxious was an understatement it took forever to fall asleep and when I did my alarm went off signaling it was time to start the journey to have Little Miss Munchkin enter this world. We were very organized suitcase packed from 1 month ago, hospital papers packed all we needed was to get in the car with the kids we were early my papers said 5:30 am we checked in at 4:30 all the nurses kidded that I was the earliest patient they had seen. But we had to the earliest our sitter could take the boys were 6:30. Hubby checked me in and waited until I was in my hospital to take the boys to the sitter and run back to be in time for the surgery. We called the IP's after we found out that I was first on the docket for the O.R. they were 2 1/2 hours away so the need to get a move on it.

I was hooked up to my I.V. had my Nintendo DS in my hands and was watching the clock wondering where hubby was and IP's God forbid they all missed time and Little munchkin was delivered without all parties being present (namely the attendees lol).  Well it took awhile to get everybody settled but as soon as  I was prepped and given my epidural the show was on the road I had an awesome team of doctors and nurses who ran the O.R.  like a locomotive amazing huh, but after 12 miscarriages, 3 years of trying and thyroid issues with me munchkin was here at 8:31 am 7lbs. 10 Oz., 20 1/2 inches long and a head full of dark hair. The hair that had been giving me hell for the last 9 months, the 50+ lbs I had gained the heartache of losses for IM they were all wiped away when they pulled her out. The journey to get her here were now part of the tapestry of life.
